Volunteer applications open on March 22.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Girls Rock Camp ATL! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can prioritize the physical and emotional safety of campers, who understand and believe in our mission and who will show up every day, on time, with a positive, proactive attitude, ready to work.

The summer session is a week-long day camp. Our campers are girls  ages 10-16 and camp will take place June 18-22 at the middle school campus of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (820 Essie Ave. ATL, GA  30316). This year’s camper showcase will be held on Saturday, June 22, at location/time TBD.

A variety of different volunteer positions are available. Some  require musical knowledge, and many do not. Some require a full-time commitment while others may be part-time. Scroll down for volunteer position descriptions and please refer to the information and job  descriptions below when filling out your volunteer application.

ORIENTATION AND TRAINING

IMPORTANT: In order to volunteer with Girls Rock  Camp ATL you must attend the orientation and training session on Sunday,  June 16, at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, the location where camp is held. Please consider this to be the first day of your volunteer  shift. We will go over camp policies, teaching and band coaching strategies, how to create a fun and safe Rock Camp, methods for working with kids, and hold a Q&A session. This is also a great opportunity  to connect with your fellow volunteers.
