WHERE:  Girls Rock Camp will be held at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (Middle Campus) located at 820 Essie Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30316. The building is wheelchair accessible.

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE DO NOT call Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School for information about camp or the registration process and DO NOT SEND or DROP OFF any registration materials at ANCS.  Registration materials sent to or dropped off at ANCS will not be considered.

WHO MAY REGISTER FOR CAMP:
Any girl who will be between the ages of 10 and 16 during the camp session may register for camp. Girls 17 and 18 years old can apply to be a CIT (Counselor in Training) by downloading the volunteer application on our volunteer page. No experience is necessary and you don’t have to live in Atlanta to register (please see below for more information about out-of-town campers). Note: girls must be 10 years old at the time of camp to attend.

TUITION:
Is on a $350 to $500 sliding scale if paying by check ($365 to $515 if paying via PayPal or credit card) for six days of camp, including the showcase day, all instrument lessons, workshops and workshop supplies, afternoon snacks, camp t-shirt, camper backstage pass, and instrument loan (if needed). Tuition is due upon recognized receipt of your registration form. Tuition payments beyond $350 help underserved girls attend Girls Rock Camp. Girls Rock Camp ATL offers tuition assistance for girls who demonstrate need. Please see below for application instruction and guidelines.

LUNCH:
Girls Rock Camp does not provide lunch for campers. Each camper needs to bring her lunch each day. However, if you are eligible for free lunch at school and would like free lunch at camp, please let us know and we will do our best to make arrangements for lunch to be provided.

INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTION:
You can choose to study guitar, bass, drums, or keyboards. Please select only ONE first choice instrument and only ONE second choice instrument on the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your first or second choice but instrument assignments are dependent on class size, ability to acquire needed gear, and even distribution of instruments throughout the camp. Due to the need to acquire gear in advance, you may not change your selections once your registration form has been submitted or during the camp session. DON'T WORRY! If you are assigned your second choice you will still have fun!

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS:  Instruments and one pair of earplugs may be provided for use during the camp week (you can keep the earplugs). If you have your own guitar/amp, bass/amp, or keyboard/amp, PLEASE BRING IT. Don't forget to label everything well! Please note that Girls Rock Camp does not accept liability for personal instruments.

ACCOMMODATIONS FOR OUT OF TOWN CAMPERS:
Girls Rock Camp ATL is a day camp and we do NOT provide lodging. We may be able to offer limited assistance with host family arrangements; if you are interested in contacting a prospective host family, or if you are a local family interested in hosting a camper, please let us know on your registration form. We will provide host family information as available. It is up to the out-of-town family to make contact with the host family and make all arrangements independently. Girls Rock Camp ATL cannot provide assistance or accept responsibility for any arrangements made by families. Please note we cannot guarantee availability of host families.

CAMPER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION:
Campers are currently admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 50 slots available. Upon receipt of your emailed or mailed registration form we will send you a notice via email confirming your reservation number and containing payment instructions. If you are applying to be a CIT no payment will be necessary.  Campers applying for tuition assistance are not selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
